Intelligent Fluid Infrastructure for Embedded Networks

Abstract

We develop a fluid infrastructure for embedded networking through the introduction of actuated elements in the network infrastructure. Our design allows the network to adapt to run time dynamics in order to maintain required levels of performance. Our approach yields significant advantages for energy constrained systems, sparsely deployed networks, delay tolerant networks, and in security sensitive situations.
