Standards of Professional Conduct

The editors of Teaching and Learning Anthropology (TLA) affirm our commitment to the standards of professional conduct set forth in the AAA’s Policy on Sexual Harassment and Sexual Assault, the AAA’s Principles of Professional Responsibility, the CASCA’s Statement on Harassment, and the CASCA’s Sexual Harassment Policy. Equity and access have always been among the core values of this journal; it is our ongoing commitment to an equitable and accessible publication process that motivates this statement. Individuals found to be in violation of US Department of Education Title IX and comparable standards and policies in other countries will not be permitted to participate in the activities of the journal. They may not serve on TLA’s editorial team or editorial board, review submissions for the journal, participate in our events, or publish in any medium with TLA.
