About University of California Journal of Medicine
The University of California Journal of Medicine, published by the University of California Irvine, provides an open access peer-reviewed forum for Department of Medicine residents and faculty to share interesting case reports, humanism pieces, and medical education literature. We publish articles in all fields of internal medicine including: General Internal Medicine; Allergy and Immunology; Cardiovascular Disease; Endocrinology; Gastroenterology, Hematology/Oncology; Infectious Disease; Nephrology; Pulmonary Disease; Critical Care; and Rheumatology.
The University of California Journal of Medicine was created to provide growth and learning opportunities for Internal Medicine residents. All article submissions must have an Internal Medicine resident or medical student interested in pursuing Internal Medicine residency as the lead author.
