About
More than 50 leading mental health and computer science researchers, industry experts, advocates and funders from six countries came together at UCLA Feb. 28 – Mar. 2, 2023 to collaborate on a shared vision and common goals for digital sensing technologies in mental health research.
Workshop participants organized into four workgroups focused on the following issues:
- digital infrastructure
- data flow
- research study design and reporting
- users’ perspective
Each workgroup developed a list of top-issues or gaps and recommendations for addressing such issues and gaps.
We share this list of issues and strategies with our peers to solicit feedback about what we got right and what we missed.
We are soliciting feedback through a Google Form. Feedback requested by August 31, 2023. You have the option to share feedback through text prompts, uploading a file with narrative comments, or uploading annotated versions of the reports (PDFs).
See the composition of the workgroups.
The workshop was sponsored by UCLA Depression Grand Challenge, Wellcome Trust and NIMH.
