Who Can Submit

Research, presentations, and posters produced by Library staff members or otherwise conducted under the auspices of or sponsored by the UC Santa Cruz Library may be submitted to eScholarship.

For submitted works written by multiple authors, at least one author must be associated with the UC Santa Cruz Library. The Library-affiliated author is responsible for obtaining explicit permission for open access publishing from all co-authors.

Content Formats

In addition to PDFs, eScholarship can display a wide variety of formats including images, downloadable audio/video, and streaming media. However, eScholarship does not publish bibliographic citations or abstracts without their associated works.

Rights and Permissions

Before submitting a paper to the repository, please be sure that all necessary permissions have been cleared. You retain the copyright to your paper and grant us the nonexclusive right to publish this material, meaning that you may also publish it elsewhere.

It is necessary that you agree to the terms of publishing in the repository listed in the author agreement.
