Abstract

© 2017 Elsevier Ltd Despite significant computational challenges, a number of tools have been developed recently to leverage the mouse to model human disease. Here we review these tools and show how they can be applied in the identification of candidate genes and therapeutic targets as well as mouse models for mechanistic studies and drug validation.
