Abstract

In 2007 a group of investigators accompanied a llama caravan transporting salt from the Cotahuasi Valley in Arequipa, Peru to Calcauso in Apurimac, Peru approximately 100 km to the north. They completed the round-trip journey and the voyage was logged using a GNSS unit attached to one of the llamas. These data are shared here.
