Charged-meson pair production in gammaγ interactions

Abstract

The cross section for the production of +- or K+K- pairs in interactions is measured for m between 1.7 and 3.5 GeV/c2 and for two intervals of center-of-mass scattering angle. Results are compared with predictions of a QCD model. © 1986 The American Physical Society.
