This is a proposal to encode the Bhaiksuki script in the international character encoding standard Unicode. The script was published in Unicode Standard version 9.0 in June 2016. The script was used around the turn of the first millennium CE in the area of the present-day states of Bihar and West Bengal in India and in parts of Bangladesh. It is also known as the Arrow-Headed Script.
