Abstract

The CASA model is a light-use efficiency model of NPP coupled with a Century-type model of soil organic matter processes. This paper describes the results of driving the CASA model with multiyear sets of AVHRR NDVI and climate variables to generate NPP estimates for the period 1982-1990.
