Proposal for encoding the Imperial Aramaic script in the SMP of the UCS
Abstract
This is a proposal to encode the Imperial Aramaic script in the international character encoding standard Unicode. The script was published in Unicode Standard version 5.2 in October 2009. The script was used to write Aramaic and other languages in the Neo-Assyrian and Persian Empires.
