Proposal for encoding the Chakma script in the UCS

Abstract

This is a proposal to encode the Chakma script in the international character encoding standard Unicode. This script was published in Unicode Standard version 6.1 in January 2012. Chakma is used to write the Chakma language, which is spoken in southeast Bangladesh and eastern India.
