Pediatric seizures are an alarming presentation to the emergency department (ED) that can be caused by a multitude of etiologies. It is important to differentiate life-threatening conditions from more benign causes. A 19-month-old girl presented to the ED after a witnessed seizure. This case offers a differential diagnosis for pediatric seizures and uses history, exam, laboratory findings, and imaging to hone the differential in the ED setting.
