Proposal for encoding the Cham script in the BMP of the UCS

Abstract

This is a proposal to encode the Cham (Eastern Cham) script in the international character encoding standard Unicode. The script was published in Unicode Standard version 5.1 in March 2008. This script was used to write the Eastern Cham language, which is spoken in Vietnam.
