Abstract

(Abstracted from Urogynecology (Phila) 2025;31(3):266–275 Physical activity restrictions after reconstructive pelvic surgery are not standardized. Traditional recommendations for abstaining from physical exertion seem to be founded on the belief that limiting physical stress can positively influence anatomical and functional recovery, although there is little evidence this is true.
