About The Proceedings of the Annual UCLA Indo-European Conference
The Proceedings of the Annual UCLA Indo-European Conference present original, peer-reviewed contributions based on papers delivered at the annual UCLA Indo-European Conference (WeCIEC). Established in 1989, the conference has become a major venue for scholars worldwide working on Indo-European linguistics and related fields. The proceedings reflect the breadth of Indo-European studies, with articles addressing topics such as historical phonology and morphology, syntax and semantics, etymology, phylogenetics, philology, poetics, and the intersections with archaeology, history, and cultural studies. The conference is organized by UCLA’s Program in Indo-European Studies and each volume of the Proceedings is edited by the UCLA Indo-European Studies faculty.
