Cold dark matter and the LHC
Abstract
The recent determination of the dark matter density in the Universe bythe WMAP satellite has brought new attention to the interplay ofresults from particle physics experiments at accelerators and fromcosmology. In this paper we discuss the prospects for finding directevidence for a candidate dark matter particle at the LHC and themeasurements which would be crucial for testing its compatibility withcosmology data.
