On Vermilion Sea Expedition two research vessels conducted a geological and geophysical exploration of the Gulf of California from February to May, 1959. The data presented in this report were collected by hydrographic casts aboard the R/V Spencer F. Baird of the Scripps Institution of Oceanography during the run from San Felipe, Mexico, to San Diego, California.
