This session will empower attendees to examine inclusive digital pedagogical practices for a variety of information literacy needs and provide advocacy strategies for communicating with faculty and library colleagues. Presenters will reflect on their knowledge and experiences facilitating active learning classrooms in both completely online and hybrid environments, and consider how they have approached integrating inclusive pedagogical practices in these spaces. Learners will consider the opportunities and challenges in their own institution through scenario exercises, and explore new ways to incorporate hybrid environments informed by inclusive pedagogical practices into their own teaching. Objective 1: Attendees will review best practices for integrating inclusive digital pedagogies into the hybrid classroom. Objective 2: Attendees will learn strategies for sustainably updating online learning content and advocating for proactively adapting to the needs of our changing student populations. Objective 3: Attendees will reflect on their teaching practices and how multimodal online learning can enhance the accessibility of their course.This presentation was made possible in part by two LAUC Presentation Grants awarded to co-panelists Wynn Tranfield and Sheila Garcia Mazari.
