This report documents the impacts of the Biking While Black (BWB) movement since its inception in 2021. BWB centers the lived experiences of Black and BIPOC in mobility planning, policy, and culture, while also challenging systemic barriers that make cycling less safe for communities of color. The project utilizes its films, podcasts, webinars, published material, and community engagement programs to amplify voices often absent or excluded in decision-making spaces. Findings highlight the power of storytelling and community voice to create counter-narratives that challenge dominant narratives in bicycling tranportation planning.
