Adaptive Sampling for Marine Microorganism Monitoring

Abstract

The goal of Adaptive Sampling is to achieve relatively high spatial resolution with relatively few sensors/robots. With the abilities of moving and sensing, the sensors/robots are able to estimate where the important areas are, and then accumulate there. In this way, the environment can be sensed with different resolutions in different places but with emphasis on the interesting place.
