SIP2: High integrity in Sensor Networks: Models, Techniques, and System Support

Abstract

Data integrity is vulnerable to faulty and malicious behavior in all sensor network systems. Faulty data is inevitable in low-cost sensor systems, and so it becomes necessary to detect and handle faults and malicious data before they cause problems in an integrated sensor system. This project seeks to present algorithms and infrastructure for high integrity sensor networks by focusing on fault models, detection and resilience techniques, and sensor systems support.
