Call for Papers
Call for Papers - Priority Consideration for CMRS 2026 Conference Presenters
The Journal of Critical Mixed Race Studies (JCMRS) is pleased to announce our 2026 Call for Papers as we relaunch the journal with renewed vision, expanded scope, and a commitment to publishing rigorous, interdisciplinary, and creative work in the field of Critical Mixed Race Studies. Following the February 2026 Critical Mixed Race Studies Conference, our first issue of the relaunch year (Fall 2026) will prioritize submissions based on work presented at the conference, including revised papers, expanded presentations, creative pieces, visual art portfolios, and collaborative dialogues that emerged from the event. Conference presenters are especially encouraged to submit, though all scholars, practitioners, artists, and community‑based researchers are welcome.
