The Proceedings of the UCLA Department of Spanish and Portuguese Graduate Conference is a repository of the papers presented at the annual Graduate Student Conference of the Department of Spanish and Portuguese at UCLA.

While the theme of each year’s conference is distinct and unique, the common scope is that of the Luso-Hispanic world, including language, literature and other forms of cultural expression. Presenters consist of researchers and graduate students, both from across the United States as well as abroad.

After the Conference, papers that were presented undergo a thorough internal peer-review process of which the final step is publication here.
