Submission Guidelines
TRANSMODERNITY: Journal of Peripheral Cultural Production of the Luso-Hispanic
World accepts manuscripts of 15-30 double spaced pages (font Times New Roman 12)
including references and notes. The journal publishes theory-based and critical essays
of the highest quality as well as interviews, and book reviews in Spanish, Portuguese
and English that contribute to expanding the field of peripheral literary and cultural
studies in the Luso-Hispanic world from the perspective of Transmodernity. Essays are
peer-reviewed by members of the Editorial Board and other associated outside readers.
Authors should submit an electronic version in Microsoft Word for Windows or MAC,
following the MLA Style Manual, and are responsible for securing any
permissions necessary for publication. Transmodernity will consider suggestions for
special issues. Books received in relevant fields are listed.
